As a business traveller, most people have access to business health insurance in case anything goes wrong on their trip abroad. This can range from a car accident to a dose of food poisoning and means that you have access to the top quality healthcare in the city that you are visiting.
If you are going to some of the more exotic countries, though, check your company's policy on paying for vaccines. If you are going to countries which have a high malaria rate, then you have to make sure that you take the prescribed course of medication each time.
Malaria medication, in particular, can work out very expensive per trip so make sure that your company is willing to cover this, even if the risk is fairly low, before you agree to make the trip. Make sure too that they are willing to give you the time off to have any vaccinations done.
Most vaccinations will only have to be done every few years, so chances are that if you travel regularly you will be up to date with most of them, but it still pays to ensure that your company will cover all the necessary costs so you are not landed with any surprise bills.
It is also in the firm's interests to do so as they do not want employees falling seriously ill abroad.
